Why should you care? Well, if for no other reason because we care about you and what we are sending you! Beyond that, Chat Noir cares about some really F#&%ing important issues and takes steps to do something about them with YOUR help!

Since you are taking a chance and buying from us, we ALWAYS want to be sure YOU are not just happy with your item but REALLY REALLY happy! We want you to see it and know you made the right choice buying from us! We strive to ensure that you get something that is made really well and we take the time to ensure that those little extras are thought about. Like minimal waste, using eco-friendly products where we can and Like back coated fabric to prevent fraying when available. We wear this stuff, we sew these things (by hand because no one ever has a working sewing machine). We know what it’s like to patch up a tear only to find in a few weeks the entire side of the patch used has frayed off. Sure, I could stop it with having taped up the edges with duck tape, but who likes having all the tape glue sticking to the needle with half the patch yet to sew, I sure don’t and we guess you don’t either!

We care about what you have to say! If something is wrong, we will make it right for you! We all have limited funds and we know when you buy from us, you are making an important choice so we want you to feel you made the best choice. Regardless of how many things go out each day EVERY single one is cared for as we package it up, and we appreciate each and every single one! We know the majority of people in an over consumeristic society just pump the junk out not giving a f&#K as long as the quantity is there. That’s not us! We make every effort to ensure that each order is spot on and done right, sure sometimes we mess something up, it happens but if you tell us we will make it right!

Chat Noir was created with the intent to support issues we care about! We feel incredibly strong about animal issues, the environment, and social economic equality. So, what can a little frumpy DIY like Chat Noir do about them, everything we can. From the little things like re- use, anyone who as ever already gotten a package from us, I’m sure that you have seen our Frankenstein packaging. A result of re-use of received packaging material. We always re-use everything we can and if it can’t be re-used we use as little as possible. In our auction we have stated that we donate to plant 1 tree for every order over $50, well, WE REALLY DO THIS! We keep a tally of every order over $50 and donate each month to a non-profit organization called One Tree Planted that plants trees all over the world.

We also focus on ensuring that we disseminate information. We alone can do only so much, but as a group there is no stopping the momentum of change. Animal issues as stated above reign supreme and the overwhelming amount of ground needing to be covered in this area is almost psychologically oppressive! It isn’t enough to simply effect one aspect of an argument, but to systematically dismantle it from all sides. We support all positions in the fight against the exploitation of animals in any form and your purchase continually helps make this happen.

Don’t get us wrong, your purchase also goes into a lot of other things…. Supplies, selling fees, shipping expenses, and the list goes on but that doesn’t make it any less important or vital to put even a portion into the issues listed above.

In reality, all were asking you to do is LOVE YOUR ITEM and know that in some amazing way you got something you wanted and supported something you care about!
