Item Description

Up for sale is a pair of Vintage B&L Ray-Ban Replacement Metal Orb Temples of Unknown MPN and Model. These temples have a glossy black finish. These temples have a hinge similar to the Aviator temples. These temples originally had a rubber type temple tip. I no long have any temple tips of this style available. These temples have a one prong hinge. To assist you in determining if these temple fits your eyeglass frames, please view the pictures carefully and take measurements of the width of the temple at the hinge area. Also measure the width of the prongs. Once you have done this, you can compare the measurements you have taken with the measurements I have indicated in the Measurements section below. Maker's Mark

The MPN is customarily embossed on the left temple tip of these type temples. The MPN is not indicated on these temples.

Item Condition

These metal temples have some mild scuffing with minor paint loss. The rubber temple tips are not available. The temples have been thoroughly washed; steam cleaned, polished and buffed to a shiny finish.

Size/Measurements

The length of the temples is 134mm or 5 1/4" without temple tips.

The width of the prong is .50mm.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
They were found in some plastic bins that were inside a storage unit that was purchased at auction. The bins were filled with an assortment of different brand eyeglass frames, temples and lenses. They were not packed very well and were found piled on top of each other and had layers of dust on them. They don’t appear to be used but because of the way they were found and due to their vintage nature, I have listed them as used. I believe they are the remnants of an old optical shop

The authenticity of the Ray-Ban items have been verified by a Ray-Ban Dealer I sold numerous items to on another online marketplace. I also did a little research on B&L Ray-Ban and verified that these are authentic by the markings. They have the correct Mfg. marks on them. Some Ray-Ban items do not have a Manufacturer’s Mark because the markings were mistakenly scrubbed off while being washed. These were manufactured in the 80s to early 90s.

RETURN POLICY
Please contact me within 14 days of receiving your item to request a refund. Buyer is responsible for return shipping and the item must be received in the same condition as sold.

UNCLAIMED RETURNS
If an item is unclaimed or undeliverable and returned to me by the carrier, you will be notified by email. You will have three business days to respond and pay an additional charge to resend the item. If the additional postage charge is not paid after three business days, the purchase price minus the original shipping and handling fees will be refunded.
