TRACKED ORDERS
A dispatch notification with tracking information will be sent to your email account.

All orders will be sent to the SHIP TO address included on your Etsy order invoice. Please check this is correct when you place your order.

An estimated processing time is given in each item details section.
Please make a note of the processing time given for your item, e.g. 1-2 weeks.
Please be aware that items may take the maximum time to make/process.
To calculate when you will receive your item, please add to the SHIP BY date the estimated delivery time to your country.

For items designed for a specific event, such as Christmas, please check the listing details and last order dates for guaranteed delivery.

Little People Designs are individually designed and hand stitched. Although I have many years of stitching experience, each unique pattern and hand embroidered item takes many hours to create.

I understand that sometimes you may need a special gift in super quick time, for this reason I am only able to offer a limited number of FAST TRACK orders each month.

If you would like to FAST TRACK your item, please message me BEFORE you place your order to check availability. If I am able to complete your order, I will send you a message to confirm this and adjust the SHIP BY date accordingly.

COMPENSATION FOR DAMAGED, DELAYED OR LOST ITEMS
I retain proof of postage for all items shipped.
Please message me if you wish to make a claim for a damaged, delayed or lost item.
I must have confirmation from the shipping service used that an item is lost before a refund is issued.
If you receive an item which you believe to be damaged, please photograph the item in the unopened packaging before you open it. Then take photographs of the item inside the packaging and out of the packaging. These photographs are required by the shipping provider to complete the claims process successfully.
Compensation for damaged items will be sent once the claim has been completed.
I cannot be held responsible for delayed items within the postal system.
If you would like to claim for a damaged or lost item sent to a UK address, please submit your claim within 30 days of the ship date.
If you would like to claim for a damaged or lost item sent internationally, please submit your claim within 90 days of the ship date.

UNAUTHORISED RETURNS
I cannot be held responsible for unauthorised returns of items, including items which are unable to be delivered to the Ship To address.
Returns must be agreed between the Seller and the Buyer before the item is shipped to return.

ADDITIONAL SHIPPING INFORMATION
A customs form is attached to the packaging of items shipped to most international countries and BFPO destinations, written on the form is the value and a description of the contents of the package.
Custom Fees and Import Taxes are the responsibility of the Buyer.
If your item is a gift and you are worried about information for customs being displayed on the packaging, please message me to discuss options.

REQUEST CUSTOM ORDER BUTTON
I am unable to view the NEED BY date information provided by you on the Etsy app.
If you choose to complete a Custom Order Form using the REQUEST CUSTOM ORDER BUTTON and fill in the NEED BY date section, please also write the Need By date in the main message section too.

UNFRAMED ITEMS
I wanted to give my customers the option to buy or use their own frame to display their design. Buying an unframed item is also a great way to reduce p&p costs and make delivery of your item even easier.
All unframed items are cut to size ready to easily pop in your own photo frame.
Please visit the description for each item to check the fabric size.
If you would like to adjust this size slightly, please message me before you order.

FRAMED ITEMS
Depending on availability, frame style may differ slightly from examples in the listing photographs.
If you would like me to send you a photo of the frame styles I have available, please send me a message before I ship your item. Alternatively a frame style available will be sent in your choice of colour, selected in the listing options.

DESIGN AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS
I am happy to provide you with a list of the colour threads used to stitch your pattern.
Please note that the resolution of your computer screen can slightly distort the colour shades of the threads.

FABRIC
All Little People designs are stitched on White 14 Count Aida Fabric, unless an alternative background colour has been agreed in writing using the Etsy messaging service.
If you would like your design to be stitched on an alternative colour fabric, please send me a message to confirm this before you confirm the final draft of your pattern.
Please note that the background colour of your digitally generated pattern may differ slightly from the Aida fabric colour used to stitch your design.
If you would like an alternative Aida fabric to be used to stitch your design, please message me for available options and to confirm your background colour choice.
Aida fabric that is folded can be ironed, please message me for care instructions.

PATTERN DESIGN
All embroidered designs are made using a variety of stitches.
Hand Embroidery may lead to some thread being buried at the back of the design, this is a sign that the design is hand not machine stitched.
Some stitches such as french knots, these look like dots, can squash and appear flat during shipping. If you notice this with your item, use your finger to gently push the french knot back into position.
Please note, a digitally generated view of your pattern will be sent to you, this may differ slightly from your finished stitched design.
Single lines on a pattern represent back stitch using one thread. This creates a very delicate look such as for a veil or a 'see-through' jacket on skin.
Occasionally, small flecks of the background colour can be seen through the stitches, this is a characteristic particularly of cross stitch work and is normal for this style of embroidery.

PRIVACY AND USAGE
From time to time, I use photographs of stitched designs to promote my shop Stitch2Smile. This will include posting pictures of the stitched designs on social media such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook etc. Please message me before I ship your item if you do not wish your design to be used for this purpose.
Your email may be used for billing or accounts purposes.
