Where can I buy a pillow insert?
The dakimakura pillow cases measure 50cm x 150cm, so any pillow of approximately that size will fit. The easiest thing to search for is a king size (60”) support pillow (often called Orthopaedic/Pregnancy Support pillows). They are available in a whole variety of qualities online, starting from around £10.

How do I get any creases out?
When you first buy your dakimakura case it is recommended that you wash it at a low-medium temperature with no detergent and then hang it up to dry to remove creases or folds.
DO NOT IRON IT! The design is printed onto the fabric using a heat transfer method and so applying high heat can damage the design. If the case still shows creases after it’s initial wash, try washing it again at a slightly warmer temperature.

How do I wash my dakimakura case?
The cases can be washed either by hand of in a washing machine at a low temperature using a gentle detergent.
