Vintage crochet pattern PDF to make a Round-And-Round Rug for the kitchen, bathroom, living room, or bedroom, circa 1970's. Rug is worked in single crochet with a strand of worsted weight yarn and a strand of worsted weight cotton-and-rayon rug yarn held together for durability. If preferred, you could use a single strand of bulky weight yarn instead. Crocheted on a US size K (6.50mm) hook at a gauge of 3 sts & 2 rnds = 1" in sc. Finished size of rug is 45" in diameter, but of course is easily adjustable by working more or fewer rounds.

You will need approx. the following amount of yarn to make this rug:
If using double strand of worsted weight -
1,900 yards / 1,738 meters
*or*
If using single strand of bulky weight -
950 yards / 869 meters

This pattern is written using US/American crochet terminology (as are all of the crochet patterns in my shop unless otherwise noted in item description). For those of you who learned crochet with UK/Australian terminology, a term conversion chart is included in the pattern.
