This little hand-dyed cotton dress is short and sweet. It has an above waistline bodice, long sleeves with 2 rows of lace edging, 2 layers of skirting, and a gingham floating collar with button detail. The dress is made from cotton fabrics, has been hand-dyed in a very random dispersion of color, so much tone-on-tone going here. There are 3 little black buttons and lots of shabby, tattered, distressed features. It has a shabby, well-loved styling, while still being fresh and mod.

The finished dress will fit the Takara, Licca and Small Pure Neemo bodies. It will also fit Sad Eyed Susie dolls.

Every pattern/tutorial is a downloadable PDF (no waiting time - just purchase and download) that contains a list of supplies and tools, clear, detailed step by step instructions loaded with photos so you can follow along easily. SKILL LEVEL: Easy. It is assumed with this tutorial that you possess basic sewing machine and hand-sewing skills. There is nothing particularly difficult about the sewing, but it is very small scale. You need to be comfortable sewing in that scale. I don't teach basic sewing machine skills at the moment. Conceivably you could make this outfit using hand-sewing entirely, but I do not and do not give instructions for that.

This outfit is made from cotton muslin with a cotton gingham for the collar. Could be made from other lightweight cotton fabrics.
