Memory/Keepsake Bears are made using clothing or fabric that has a special meaning for you and/or your family/friends. Each bear will have its own personality and meaning based on what he or she is made from.

Bear measures about 18-20" tall (fabric causes variations in size due to stretchiness, stuffing, etc.). Each bear includes a coordinating ribbon and does not include nose or eyes.

Ideas for projects are many. I've made bears from clothing that was special to someone or to a family because the clothing belonged to someone they loved. One of my favorite projects was making over 30 bears for a family from their grandmother's clothing so that they could remember her forever. Another group of bears was in memory of a beloved sister and bears were shared with those family members.

Recent bears were made from newborn clothes as a gift for a Mom whose children were growing up. She will treasure bears forever!

A sweet bear was made using a baby blanket that belonged to a now adult man who was about to become a new father. The bear was made as a gift from the new baby's grandmother to the new baby after its birth.

Bears were made using an antique quilt. Precious and very fragile bears.

An especially poignant bear was made from a favorite sports coat that once belonged to a beloved husband who was lost too early. Additional bears were made using his dress shirts and given to his children and grandchildren.

I've even had orders put together by co-workers in memory of a lost friend at work. Very special!
