Vintage crochet pattern PDF to make both a Hazelnut Stitch Beret & Hat, circa 1970's. Pattern description says, "The copper beret, on the left, has a halo of rosy pink hazelnut stitches (a variation of the popcorn stitch). You start at the crown and single crochet down. The hazelnut round is bordered by a round of treble crochet. The cap on the right keeps its shape close to the head. It is also worked in single crochet. Three colorful rows of hazelnuts make a wide textured band around the edge." Crocheted in worsted weight yarn on a US size J (6.00mm) hook at a gauge of 16 sts & 16 rnds = 4" in sc.

Both hat are One size fits all/the average woman.

You will need approx. the following amount of worsted weight yarn to make these hats:
* Beret -
MC - 200 yards
CC - 100 yards
* Hat -
MC - 200 yards
CC 1 - 100 yards
CC 2 - 100 yards

This pattern is written using US/American crochet terminology (as are all of the crochet patterns in my shop unless otherwise noted in item description). For those of you who learned crochet with UK/Australian terminology, a term conversion chart is included in the pattern.
