Nature's Facial Serum/Hair Oil with Sea Buckthorn Oil

Layer this over your Face Food and your skin will look and feel amazing. Two drops is all you need. This method helps your moisturizer absorb deeper. Just remember to wait two or three minutes after applying your moisturizer and remember oil can penetrate moisturizers, but not vice versa. So oil goes on last.

New and improved this beautiful infused oil is where it all begins. Most of Green Springs Body Works products start with herbal infused oils. For this serum I use organic jojoba oil because it resembles the skin's sebum, is easily absorbed and balances sebum production. It also helps to reduce clogged pores, moisturizes and softens. It is also a wonderful hair oil.

This 2 oz. bottle is chock full of healing herbs and flowers: violets, red raspberry, calendula, comfrey, marshmallow root, plantain, and many more. I save my most fragrant rose petals for this special oil. Solar infused for four to six weeks, I lovingly pick and forage the herbs and flowers in the early morning preferably during the time of the full moon. I have been wild-crafting herbs for over twenty years and I make sure to walk gently and only pick what I can use. It sometimes takes weeks to find enough herbs for one batch as I go to many different locations in the surrounding mountains so as not to deplete any one place. Often I come across herbs that I use for natural dyeing, I am also a fiber artist so it's great when I can also find natural dye plants while I am wild crafting!

After the herbs are infused in the jojoba and olive I add a few drops of rose, helichrysum and carrot seed essential oils, skin softening organic oils of: argan, sea buckthorn, apricot, olive, meadowfoam seed oil and this aromatic oil is ready to use.

Highly prized meadowfoam oil grows in Oregon and is a light, nutrient rich oil which has done wonders for my skin.

Non-greasy organic apricot kernel oil helps in preventing wrinkles and is fast absorbing.

Sea Buckthorn Oil is a new addition to this serum. This amazing oil replenishes your skin and is my new favorite oil!

Argan oil is another favorite. This organic oil is rich in essential fatty acids, Omega 6 and Vitamin E, it is valued for its ability to regenerate and nourish dry and damaged hair. So this serum also helps tame dry frizzy hair when applied to the scalp.

Rose essential is my favorite oil. Because of its natural acids, it’s hydrating and anti-inflammatory. Its antiseptic and disinfectant properties clear up blemishes and calm the skin. It is most effective for moisturizing and hydrating the skin and is especially good for dry, mature and irritated skin.

Carrot Seed Oil essential oil has amazing skin enhancing properties. By stimulating skin circulation, it improves elasticity, tones skin, repairs damaged tissues, and combats the formation of wrinkles and scars.

Helichrysum essential oil aids in healing scars. Excellent for its skin-rejuvenating properties in addition to softening the skin.

This combo of oils help boost the skin’s ability to regenerate, nourish, hydrate, and oxygenate.

I like to apply Nature's Serum sparingly to my face, neck, and chest whenever my skin feels dry. Instantly my skin is quenched and soft. I then like to apply Face Food. It can also be used as a sensual massage oil or hair oil.
