Can I ask for a paint color change on my mat?

Yes, but keep this in mind. When we initially design a mat, we put a lot of thought into how it's going to look. The style, the font, the layout and the paint color(s). If you want to alter an original design, please contact us and let us know, so we can work with you. We will not charge for a change in paint color, but please be advised, the color we chose is part of our design and was chosen for many factors. If you change a paint color, that will fall under the policy of a personalized/custom creation as far as a refund and we cannot be held responsible if your intended color doesn't seem as appealing as our original design.

Will the color look exactly like the photo online?

We strive to show colors accurately when we display our mat. Remember, all colors are painted on coconut coir doormat and doormats are a natural light brown color. As stock mats come in, there are variations of the natural coir color. Some mats can be lighter than others. So keep that in mind, painting a color on a doormat can result in a slight variance of the original color; as it is not like painting on a white canvas. If you request a custom doormat with colors, that is something you should keep in mind, but we will do our best to keep the color as close to original as we can. Please take in account, there can be a variance in the representation of color due to the type of monitor/device you have and your own personal display settings.

Why do you not offer Returns or Exchanges?

In the era of big box stores accepting all returns, we are not a big box store. As a small business who makes every order by hand and to order, this is not something we can do. All our listings state No Returns or Exchanges. In addition, we cannot ensure all customers making a return/exchange request are honest and sending back to us an unused product where we can resell it. Due to this, we will not accept returns or exchanges. So, please, be sure when you place your order, it is the item and size you want or are gifting.

What if I want to make some adjustments/changes to a design in your shop already?

ANY change requests to a stock design AUTOMATICALLY moves you to the “It's YOUR Personalized Custom Hand Painted Welcome Doormat - Your design idea/image”. That's the reason we have this mat, your idea brought to life=custom. We are happy to help you create a unique personalized design just for you. If you want to start off with one of our stock mats and enhance it to fit you, not a problem! But this will constitute being a custom design. Please inquire with us before purchasing a stock mat and then asking for changes. Color changes are free, but redesigns are work for us, no matter if you feel it's "just a simple change". If you purchase a stock mat first and ask for changes, we will invoice you for the difference for a custom design.

Care:
Easy to keep clean, just vacuum or shake your rug out. The rubber backing will keep the doormat in place firmly. Remember this product is made from coco coir and will shed some for the first few weeks, this is a normal occurrence so don't be alarmed. Your hand painted doormat will hold up best under cover.
