This brass pendant is made with an innovative 3d printing process; the wheels of the bike can move thanks to the interlocking design. We designed this shape using an advanced 3d modeling software. This specific design is our 3different exclusive!
The different parts of the bicycle (the body and the wheels) are printed in the same process: they are not assembled afterwards.
This specific 3d printed shape with moving parts is almost impossible to obtain with traditional techniques. Only recently we were able to print our objects in brass mantaining at the same time a moving mechanism in every step of the process.
The pendant comes with a 23 inches black lanyard.
The pendant itself is 1,6 inches x 0,9 inches x 0,4 inches
3d printed jewels in brass are made with a complex five-step process. First, the model is 3d printed in wax, it is then put in a container where liquid plaster is poured in around it. Once the plaster sets, the wax is melted out in a furnace and the remaining plaster becomes the mold. Molten metal is poured into this mold and set to harden. The plaster is broken away, revealing the object then tumbled, cleaned, hand polished or plated.
The contemprorary and sport inspired design makes it a unisex item that you can use in both formal and casual occasions.
