A crochet pattern for a pretty summer camisole top or “blouse” from a vintage Mon Tricot magazine. It is also shown as an overtop – in seventies tank top style.
The top is shaped in at the waist, (ie not with a straight side edge) for a nice feminine fit.
There are bands of crochet flowers worked as 3 row insertion strips (continuous, no sewing!) and forming the straps.
It is hip length with a drawstring waist…but could easily be made shorter or without the drawstring, for a different look.
You can also make more lace flower bands if you prefer quite easily.
This would also make a good bodice /yoke for a dress with a fabric skirt in “pillowcase dress style”.
