Antique German Stoneware Beer Stein Hand Painted Ale Tankard Stout Mug Made in Germany Bar Collectible Barware Memorabilia Breweriana Advertisement KB Stein

This lovely stein came from a wonderful estate of a collector of unique glass, barware and German steins. A wonderful piece produced in Germany depicting an endearing couple embraced in a kiss framed by lovely floral vines! This lovely piece was hand painted/accented in a rustic brown and deep green.

Although there is no lid on the piece and appears to never have had one, there is a pith mark in the handle for one. The stamp on the bottom of the piece dates it to between 1887 and 1949; as it was 1949 when the distinction was made between East and West. It appears to have been well used…..but still remains a simply gorgeous piece!

It measures approximately 6-1/2” tall, 3-1/2” across the base and 2-3/4” across the mouth and has an inside depth of about 6” – the entire width is approximately 4-3/4” (from the arch of the handle to the edge). Other than some paint wear and slight crazing, there are no cracks, chips, or repairs.

This wonderful piece would make a perfect addition to your own collection, or be an endearing gift for someone special!
