Can Artesão Cookie Molds be used for other applications?

Yes! Artesão flexible food-safe silicone molds work well with many craft applications. Soap, wax, fondant, chocolate, low melting metals, and resin are some options. Note: Depending on the characteristics of the design, molds may have a layered, uneven back. This is indicative of its handmade quality and intentional for optimum cookie demolding. When using for other applications, keep in mind that some molds may not have the flat back typically desired for pourable casting. Molds can be adjusted for a fee to suit your casting needs. Fees are based on size of mold, need-by date, and number of molds in order. For info on the structure of individual designs or mold adjustments, contact me at susan@artesaocookiemolds.com or via Etsy messages.

Orders are typically fulfilled and shipped within 1-3 days of purchase. Once an item is shipped we have no control over its journey and cannot be held responsible for any delays. Any additional international custom charges are the responsibility of the purchaser. (Note: Holiday Season shipping can be very unpredictable and delays not uncommon) You can follow your package's status with the tracking number associated with your order found in its shipping confirmation email. if you suspect a package is lost please contact me via Etsy convo/messages.

Artesão molds are handcrafted, food-grade, flexible silicone rubber. Made from high durometer silicone, these sturdy user-friendly molds stand up to firm cookie doughs.

Artesão molds can also be used for chocolate molding, fondant, sugar casting, soap and wax crafting, and more. Although the molds are oven-safe, up to approx. 450°F, cookies are not intended to be baked in molds.

Artesão molds come packaged in a gift bag with one recipe/instruction card per order. If your order contains gifts, please leave details in the personalization box and we will provide a bag and recipe/instruction card for each gift (mold) indicated. All molds are handmade in the U.S.A.

Quick cookie molding instructions:
1) Dust mold cavity with powdered sugar or flour, tapping out the excess.
2) Press the dough into the mold.
3) Peel mold off dough and directly onto parchment paper or silicone mat and bake.
