Vintage Webster Sterling Silver Baby Hair Brush -- Baby Gift, Christening Gift, Newborn Gift

From the 1930s or early 1940s comes this lovely sterling baby's brush with nylon bristles set into an old wooden base, encased in sterling silver. In charming vintage condition with some dings and small dents. Bristles appear to be set firmly, and are soft, gentle enough for a baby's scalp. Simple and elegant chased design around the edge, with a cartouche in the center with the name "Romy" engraved. It might be possible for a silversmith or jeweler to buff off the name and engrave a new one.

Brush has been gently polished to brighten the silver, but with some tarnish left on to highlight the age of the piece.

Stamped Webster Sterling with the maker's logo.
