Just like Grandma used to make, this lye soap cleans and refreshes. In the "good old days" lye soap was used a laundry detergent, body soap, complexion soap, shampoo, and greasing hinges. No need to let this soap cure before use because we have let it cure already. Use it the day you get it! It comes with a story about lye soap through history. Net wt. 3-5 oz.
Due to the nature of being handmade, coloration and style may vary, however, we never vary in our dedication to quality.

Hunting season coming so I purchased this for family members that might get insects bites. While out in woods. We have used lye soap for years to stop the itch it works great. So glad I found some made with lard and no added scent. It’s great. I will be buying more don’t hesitate you better get some now. It does take a little while to get but I was told that at purchase so I am happy.
Glad to find a real Lye soap made of the right ingredients to use with my historical recreation projects. Thanks for keeping the old method and ingredients alive!
