These patterns are of an elegant French idyllic Provence countryside toile printed in a pretty pastel colour on an off white pure cotton. Toile de Jouy is a uniquely French design. The scenes printed on the fabric usually have a mythological reference. Some Toile can be very intricate and grand and the scenes are often of Victorian country scenes.
Pattern may slightly vary from photos as made to order.
The lampshade materials have been tested and passed the glow wire test carried out by the Lighting Association. We recommend the use of low energy bulbs with your lampshades. They use less energy and are cool to the touch, avoiding the problem of scorching shades and ceilings.
