I bought a few colors of these mini skeins. I have used two. I didn't think they knit up well. Since it is well known mini skeins are used for heels, toes and cuffs of socks one would think the yarn would be good for this. I don't think this yarn is going to take much walking about on before it has holes in it. The colors are lovely so, if you aren't going to use this yarn for socks it might be good. The sparkle does have nylon in it but it is pretty wimpy yarn too. BUT if you love the colors and the yarn isn't going to get much wear. Might be a great yarn.

I was very surprised by this review. I have sold hundreds of skeins of these yarns and had only excellent reviews. It is unfair to assume the yarn will not hold up before having any actual experience of this happening. I did reach out to this customer to see if there actually has been a problem with the wear of the yarn. By the customers response, I can only assume that they are not aware of the variety of sock yarns available and was expecting a heftier yarn. Euro Twist and Sparkle are spun in a European Mill specifically for sock knitting as a strong 4-ply merino construction. I sell 7 types of sock yarn and there are distinct differences in thickness and construction, yet all are in the sock weight category and of excellent quality. Customer satisfaction is very important to me! Both of these yarns have many loyal fans!
