It is crafted from solid hardwoods walnut and maple, allowing their natural colors to shine through envisioning the glowing moon against a night sky. The base is 6x12-inches. The moon pieces are 2 1/2-inches tall. They fit into the puzzle base as well as can be played with on their own. Wow. Wow. Wow. This is B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L .... can’t describe how amazing this is. I purchased this to give to my daughter for her 2nd bday. . .
