This fur knife is making my crafting life SO much easier! I had to cut up ten full size sheepskins into little 2" X 3" pieces (over 1500 pieces in all). I used to do this with heavy duty scissors but I knew that wasn't going to work with so many skins to process. The blades that this knife holds cut through the thick skins easily without damaging the wool "fur". The knife is somewhat primitive looking, but believe me that it works so well! I used a total of about 6 full blades (each full blade separates into two) for my project so if you're cutting a lot of skins, buy extra blades. You can't use blades that you buy at the regular store. These blades are already scored on the diagonal so you get two out of each. Easy to snap in two but do be careful! They are SHARP. Bottom line - I LOVE this fur knife.
