Winter Garden, FLA

Winter Garden is a small town located about 15 miles west of downtown Orlando in Orange County, Florida. It is bordered to the north by Lake Apopka, to the west by Oakland, to the east by Ocoee and to the south by Windermere. Winter Garden was well known for its involvement in the citrus industry. When farmers built a train depot in the area in 1893, they named the stop “Winter Garden” in honor of the year-round growing opportunities in the area.
