Swarovski teardrop pearl earrings in a warm and creamy ivory shade, simply mounted on gold-filled headpins, embellished with a collar of fine gold-filled wire wrapping, and hung on my own handmade gold-filled earwires with a brushed satin finish. This colour combination of cream and gold is simply lovely.

These are pretty, petite and elegant drop earrings, ideal for brides and bridesmaids, especially if you're looking for something classic that won't fight for attention with your dress and hair. They are equally suitable as minimal daytime or evening jewellery, the wire wrapping adding just that touch of something chic and different to the pearls.

The pearl drops measure just 12mm in length and the total drop of the earrings is about 2cms. The final photo shows an earring on my jewellery model, to give an idea of how they look when worn. My model is slightly smaller than life size.

Swarovski pearls are considered by many to be the best faux pearls available, featuring a crystal core (rather than the plastic core of cheaper alternatives) upon which Swarovski deposit many layers of mother of pearl, producing a depth of lustre that rivals natural pearls.
