Custom one-piece signs can be created by request of up to 48" x 48" (plasma cut) or 59" x 39" (laser cut). We are also equipped to do up to 1000 pieces at a time.

Plasma: The amount of detail we can fit on a sign will be limited to the amount of space we have to fill. I.e. The more words you want, the larger the sign needs to be. Generally, plasma is great for cutting thick metal signs. The detail of plasma is like using a fat tipped marker to draw on a post-it note. Sometimes a lot of detail isn't required. Sometimes it is. If it is, you'll need it to be laser cut.

Laser: Better on thinner metal and can make pieces as small as keychains.

Metal signs will rust over time if not coated. Painting the sign will prevent rust for years to come.

Mill scale is a natural coating on the metal that is gray with a blue hue to it. Mill scale can vary in dark and light shades throughout a single sheet of metal which gives a more modern industrial look. It will rust gradually over time if left outdoors or in a humid environment.

Shiny metal or bare metal has no protective coating and it will rust quickly if not painted or oiled. If you're painting it, wash with soap and water, dry quickly. Spray paint with primer made for metal and then your choice of color.

Powdercoat is a more durable finish that outlasts paint. It needs no other protection and is the most commonly purchased finish
