I recently started working with reclaimed barn wood, from 120 and 130 year old barns, and decided what better way to use them, than with antique photographs. The barn wood has been sealed to bring out the lovely, rich grain, then an antique photograph has been altered in an image transfer, then mounted and adorned on the wood block. Excerpt from an antique poem can be seen through the photograph, to give it a haunting appearance, with the words of days gone by. A special quote has been added at the bottom, which compliments the photo. I have several in my shop, but this listing is for the one in the first 4 images. Measures 6 1/2 inches high by 5 inches wide, and 1 inch thick. Some of the wood blocks may have nails, worm holes, and other aged goodness on them. All are clean and smooth, and have a saw tooth hanger on the back for easy hanging.
