This open edition image measures 8x10 inches and is printed on 8.5"x11" flat CANVAS sheet with archival inks.

I use a specially designed CANVAS for archival fine art prints. Your Giclee print will come on a very high quality flat Canvas sheet, looking like the original painting, and can be framed easily in a standard frame with a backing, with or without glass.

Print is hand signed by the artist on the front border.

About the Artist:

I have been a full time artist, specializing in animal portraiture, since my husband was diagnosed with brain cancer in July 2006. I was blessed to have been able to stay at home, painting the things I love, and care for my husband at the same time. We were so blessed as we had another four and a half years together. But on September 26, 2010, my beautiful husband, Gary, lost his battle. My husband was always my inspiration as well as my most positive encourager. At first, I painted to pay the bills, but it became my passion very quickly. This is the legacy he left me. He was very proud of me, and though my art career was forged from tragedy, it is certainly the silver lining that he left me with.

My work has been collected around the world, from Australia and Japan to right here at home, in Canada. My dogs have gotten me through some very tough times, and I try to capture the essence of these incredible friends in each piece I create.
