Although most flowers bloom in the spring and summer, there are a few that bloom in the fall. This is one! The warm, earthy tones of autumn are featured in this beautiful stoneware flower and the tubular herringbone lariat to which it's attached.

The pendant is actually a shank button, high fired stoneware created by the talented Lisa Peters in the richest shades of honey and caramel you can imagine.

I chose beads in complementary shades of cream, honey, and caramel to create a slim ndebele rope; and I added some fanciful loops at the ends of the rope. The rope is fed through two peyote tubes securely attached to the back of the button, so you can just slip this over your head and move the button up or down the ropes (kind of like a bolo).

This necklace will coordinate wonderfully with your favorite fall outfits. Wear it to the office, out to lunch with your friends, or even out for a special dinner. It's lightweight and comfortable, and it'll look great in any setting!
