The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's most recognizable landmark is undoubtedly the Old Well. My Old Well note card set is a favorite gift for students and alumni!

This new set is updated to include a view of the current NC native plants landscaping around the Old Well, in addition to versions from the past - like the beautiful azaleas!

Originally the sole water supply for neighboring dormitories, the well was given its present decorative form in 1897. Campus legend suggests that a student who drinks from the Old Well on the first day of classes will receive good luck for the school year.

This item is an Officially Licensed Collegiate Product, offered with the approval of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. A portion of the sale price of this product is contributed to the general scholarship fund of the university.

Photos are printed on lightly textured watercolor paper, and hand-folded and cut. One of each photo and four natural white envelopes are included in the Set of 4 Cards (Two of each in the Set of 8, four of each in the Set of 16, five of each in the Set of 20.) Cards measure 5.5 x 4" (A2 stationery size)

Sets include an information card telling a little bit about the photos in the set (5th photo), and are package in a sealed clear cello bag.
