JEWELRY CARE INSTRUCTIONS

You'll prolong the life of your jewelry by taking care of it properly! ~ Remove jewelry before the gym, jumping in the swimming pool, ocean or natural hot springs and *** definitely *** before you bathe or shower! ~ After wearing, before putting away, wipe your jewelry with a soft cloth to remove body oils and perspiration. ~ When not wearing your jewelry, the best way to store it is in an airtight bag. ~ Pearls can scratch easily and should be kept in storage bags separate from other items. ~ Exposure to light, air, heat, and humidity hasten the tarnish process of sterling silver. ~ Avoid contact with chlorine, sulphur, hairspray, perfumes, bleach and ammonia, all of which can permanently damage gold and sterling silver jewelry.

PRICING OF 14 KARAT GOLD AND STERLING SILVER ITEMS

The price of gold and sterling silver changes daily, based on trade in the world metals market. Although both are variable, in December 2025, sterling silver has been trading for $70 per ounce or more. Gold is substantially more expensive, now trading at $4,200 or more per ounce. Understanding this dramatic pricing differential explains why any form of gold jewelry is priced so much higher than sterling silver. STERLING SILVER AND 14 KARAT GOLD INFORMATION

STERLING SILVER is an alloy containing 92.5% fine silver and 7.5% copper, by weight, which is the International Standard. Fine silver is 99.9% pure silver and is a relatively soft metal, so silver is usually alloyed with copper to increase its hardness, strength and durability, thus creating Sterling Silver. 14 KARAT GOLD is an alloy composed of 58.3% gold and 41.7% silver, copper, zinc or nickel. Gold is measured by purity, or karats. The scale’s general spectrum is between 10 and 24 karats.

GOLD FILLED AND GOLD VERMEIL INFORMATION

GOLD FILLED metal is composed of a solid layer of gold mechanically bonded to a base of either sterling silver or some base metal. The related terms "rolled gold plate" and "gold overlay" may legally be used in some contexts if the layer of gold constitutes less than 5% of the item's weight. GOLD VERMEIL is a style of gold plating also known as silver gilt. For metal to legally be considered vermeil, it must meet 3 trade criteria: *The base of the metal must be sterling (92.5%) or fine (99.9%) silver; *the purity of the gold must be of at least 10 karats; and *the thickness of the gold layer must be a minimum of 2.5 microns (0.0025 millimeters).

ARGENTIUM INFORMATION

ARGENTIUM is a silver alloy which contains more fine silver than traditional 925 Sterling and is also available in two grades ~ 935 contains 93.5% pure silver; 960 contains 96% pure silver ~ with the remainder made up of other alloys, including copper and germanium. ARGENTIUM has greater tarnish resistance than sterling silver, a slightly whiter color, plus antibacterial and hypoallergenic properties. ARGENTIUM is made from recycled materials.

1. IF: Internally Flawless; Very high Quality 2. VVS: Very very slight inclusion visible under 10x Magnification; High Quality 3. I: Inclusion Clearly visible to the Naked eye; Medium to Lower Quality 6. Opaque: Light cannot pass through 7. Transparent: Light can pass through

Returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee to cover time and costs involved with making and shipping your order. Exchanged or returned items must be in original condition, secured in the original packaging, with no sign of wear, use or soiling of any kind. If the items are not returned in original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. We do not accept exchanges/returns of damaged items or items with missing components. Incomplete earring pairs, pendants, necklaces and/or jewelry sets will not be accepted for return or exchange.

RETURN/EXCHANGE DETAILS CONTINUED

Items returned after 14 days are subject to a 35% restocking fee; returns are not accepted after 30 days. The customer covers all return shipping costs. Returned items not in original condition or which are returned with damaged, missing or broken parts or components will be subject to a 50% restocking fee on the pro-rated value of the earring pair, pendant, necklace and/or jewelry set, to be determined at our discretion, and will be issued a store credit only.
