Materials: wensleydale x cotswold locks

These are pretty Wensleydale/Cotswold X locks that I purchased from an Oregon farm, washed and hand dyed. Wonderful for adding texture to any fiber arts endeavor. I absolutely loved dyeing these because they are a natural grey with pale tips, and they soaked up more dye at the ends making a natural ombre effect! So fun!

These have a fairly open lock structure with a nice wave and chunky curls at the end. Easy to work with and a pretty luster. As with nearly all fiber kept in lock form, these contain a bit of vm (not much at all). Staple length is approx. 6-7 inches but varies throughout. Perfect for tail/lock spinning. These come in a cloud form (not separated) but it is very easy to pull individual locks out, just look for the tips.

Colors...natural greys with hot pink tips. Love, love this color combo.
