Handmade individually by me, a spiral cable needle in your choice of metal:

- Bronze (a stiffer metal and a warmer color than brass, like a rose gold)
- Brass (jeweler's brass, yellow color)
- Copper (discontinued - I’m no longer making these in softer copper)

Gives you something to grip while knitting those crossover cable stitches.

Made from 2mm solid wire. (2mm is equivalent to US0 needle size)
Smoothly finished with a polished tapered point.
Stamped with my SpindleCat spiral cat mark

Answer: Maybe, if you knit loosely on larger needles? I don't personally don't use this needle for cables on socks knit with fingering weight yarn on small needles (US1) as I knit tightly and there is no room to easily slide stitches onto the spiral needle from left to right.

I have several of these cable needles, and have given several as gifts as well. I can't imagine knitting without them. They work great and don't fall out of the knitting even if I flop them around a bit. Perfectly crafted and never a sharp edge. Plus, they're pretty!
