Custom and personalized orders

We love making custom orders! If you know exactly what you want your custom sign to say, search our site for the listing with the number of letters you need... for example "Custom 7 letter" or "Custom 12 letter". Place your order from that listing and include the exact wording for your sign in the Notes section. If you'd like us to create something that we don't already have a listing for, just start up a conversation with us for a custom order.

What is primary color and finish?

Primary color will be the color painted on the wood for your sign. You can choose a color from the list or choose to leave it natural (unpainted wood). (If you don't see the color you're looking for, let me know.) Finish also relates to the wooden board. You can have it painted, painted then distressed, or if you chose natural for the color, the finish will be natural as well.

How long does it take to make a sign?

Our production time differs during different seasons. If you'd like to see what our timeline looks like before ordering, just check the Shipping & Policies tab on the listing and it will tell you how quickly your sign will be ready to ship.

Will my sign look like the one in the photo?

No - the photos shown are only samples. We include lots of photos so you have a general idea of what our finished products look like, but each sign is custom built when its ordered.

Can my sign be sent as a gift?

Absolutely! Many of our signs are sent for graduation or birthday gifts. In the notes section, include what you'd like written in a gift card. Then make sure to change the "ship to" address so its headed to the right person.

Shipping internationally

We love our international customers but wanted to mention that UK buyers should be aware of the import VAT (20%) and an additional processing fee charged by the post office of £8 on any orders over £15. These additional costs are NOT included in item and shipping price.

Can I request specific states be included?

We are happy to take requests but cannot guarantee they'll be available. When building your sign we'll look for these states and will use them if we have them. If unavailable, your sign will be completed with a variety of other states.

Custom made license plate signs - no two are alike! We can make any sign you can dream up.

Pictures are for samples only - your sign will be an original made from old, recycled license plates. Letters used on your sign will be different colors from different states. Some numbers may be used upside down to create a letter (for example 3's can be made into E's).

Pick a board color or choose to leave it natural. All boards are cut from wood, painted on the front and sealed on the back. Perfect for either indoor or outdoor use. A wire hanger is also added to the back.
