Item highlights
Seller's description
This is a beautiful pair of blue and black G-10 handle making scales for making a knife. G-10 is an extremely durable material constructed from layers of fiberglass soaked in resin, then oven-baked after compression. G-10 is impervious to UV, moisture & liquid. It is flame resistant and physically stable under climate change. G10 is used the world over in a variety of industrial applications as insulation material and is a high-end handle material due to its unrivaled toughness, low maintenance and excellent grip characteristics. It is also used as reinforcement parts in many types of sports equipment due to its flexibility.
When sanded down and shaped, the layers will become visible, giving an exceptionally handsome look. After sanding and shaping of these scales is complete, it is recommended to rub Vaseline on the scales and wipe them off until they're not greasy. The colors will pop and Vaseline wont evaporate like mineral oil.
You get 2 scales with each set.
Dimensions:
Length: 5 inches approximately
Width: 1.5 inches approximately
Height: 3/8 inch
Approximately 54 layers (alternating black and blue) per piece of handle material.

Exactly as described, arrived quick.
Amazing! Was a gift and they went nuts over them. Received very quickly.
Fast shipping.. Great product. Beautiful color.
I can’t even begin to describe the feeling of disappointment with this seller. Rude, dismissive and verging in sarcastic. I pleaded my order on November 8th after sending a message about this gift being for my husband for our 10th wedding anniversary. I selected priority mail to make sure this arrived in time but it was sent regular mail instead. Seller tried to blame a 20year old for the mistake as if the age made a difference. They did refund the difference of the shipping right away and apologized but, still no package (Nov 29th now) and the seller refuses to do a single thing until the package arrives back to them. Very slow to reply to messages unless sending a snippy, combative, rude reply. I was very patient up until they sent a heart emoji in reply to how a message. So very disappointed
Response from wholeearthsupply
We admittedly did make a mistake with the shipping speed (We shipped her order First Class International instead of Priority Mail). We refunded the difference in shipping speed and apologized 5 times. She proceeded to become irate and called us "assholes" and proceeded to try to force us to refund her before we could receive the package back in the mail. We were and are very sorry for the fact that the slower shipping time missed her important occasion. But it's not alright to swear at us and send us repeated hostile emails.
