An original, 1800s mourning Cape made of Victorian silk satin, trimmed in ruched silk ribbon, lace and silk cord soutache braid.

This piece is predominantly in great condition.
There is no fade, holes or tears to the main body.
The main issue is fraying of the silk ribbon at the collar, which could be replaced if required.
It is lined in a soft, almost glazed cotton and fastens with hook and eye.
