Vintage from the 19th century

Stunning original patina antique weathervane running horse

C.1880-1890 “Ethan Allen” style.

Horse itself is 30 1/8” x 18” tall

Salvaged from a barn in Michigan

Most likely attributed to manufacturer Harris of Boston or J.W.Fiske

Cast zinc/lead head and hollow copper body with verdegris throughout showing its age.
traces of gold original gilding present through entire horse.

Multiple bullet holes to body. Common as kids would use these around the farm as target practice.
Can be repaired at buyers preference or left as is. (The way we like it)
