A little while ago I was able to buy out some items from an old magic shop at a great deal so I have lots to share at a great price.
This is one of those items!
Bicycle Short deck. Official Bicycle Blue - classic Rider backed short deck sealed and unused as it came from the magic shop.
Super mint and clean set. This is a complete short deck.
They are standard deck size a little larger than 2.5" x 3.5". Poker 808 style.
A "short deck" for magicians is a deck of playing cards where some or all of the cards are intentionally shorter than a standard Bicycle deck. These shortened cards are often used in specific tricks and routines, particularly those involving the "Svengali" effect, where a small number of cards are shorter than the rest.
Used in magic tricks, especially to create the illusion of a "disappearing" or "appearing" card, or to manipulate the visibility of specific cards within the deck.
Although unmarked, I believe this was produced in the 90s.
