How should the rug be cleaned?

Regular Cleaning: Vacuum the rug gently on a low setting, ideally with a brushless suction attachment to avoid pulling on fibers. Vacuum both sides periodically to remove dust and maintain its texture. Spot Cleaning: For minor spills, blot the area immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid rubbing, as this can spread the stain. If needed, use a small amount of cold water and gently dab with a cloth. Professional Cleaning: Every 1-2 years, we recommend professional cleaning to remove deeply embedded dirt and restore the natural colors. Ensure the cleaner has experience with vintage handwoven rugs to maintain the integrity of the fibers and dyes.
