➽ This handmade pom-pom flower arrangement, entitled "Marigold Mirth" is made to resemble the marigolds that are important part of any Dia de los Muertos and Diwali celebrations. Marigolds are used on ofrendas and Day of the Dead altars to attract the spirits of dead family and friends through their bright colors and strong smell. These handmade yarn marigolds have the vibrance of their fresh counterparts without the pollen that makes the living sneeze. These handmade Cempasuchil, made in Albuquerque New Mexico, are also more durable than other paper handmade marigolds, do not fade, cannot be easily damaged by water, and do not require any assembly. Made from acrylic yarn and prearranged in a blue glaze ceramic vase, this handmade flower arrangement features various shades of oranges and is entitled “Marigold Treasure”. Use this pom-pom flower arrangement as a table centerpiece, desk or alter decoration, or as a bright autumn decoration or gift. The bright colors make people smile and they never fade. In addition, this arrangement never needs watering, will not wilt, and can be displayable in many situations where live flowers could not be used. As an allergy friendly decoration, it is free of smoke, pet dander, flower pollen, and free of artificial scents. Each pom-pom flower is handmade of soft acrylic yarn on paper covered green stems and paired with silk and artificial green leaves. The pom-pom flowers are approximately 2” and 1 ½” and are arranged in a small blue glazed ceramic dish with other silk leaves and artificial moss giving the arrangement a natural look while still being a unique and playful display.
