The item was as expected, but the packaging was terrible, positively negligent for inter-continental shipping. The item arrived damaged with plastic broken bits in the packaging seemingly from internal damage, there were misaligned pieces and a loose structural screw stuck in the packaging. I contacted the seller, and they gaslighted me, and were very unhelpful, minimising the damage and trying to make it seem like it was my problem to fix it, had I attempted to do so it would have voided the warranty and any claim I had to a refund. In the end they did offer a full refund, but that is not a credit to them because they only did so after I opened a case with Etsy. Then after the case was closed they continued to hassle me attempting to make me pay to ship it back. Don’t. Trust. This. Seller. One of the worst experiences I’ve had.

Response from RichmondSewing Center

this type of issues with the return process affects a lot of sellers, when customer gets the full refund money and they don’t return the item. item was shipped new and with no defect, customer make a claim about a loose screw and a broken plastic part that do not affect the functionality of the machine. after reviewing her complaint and providing a solution for her small complaint cusomter still not want to proceed with the solution. scale the claim as a refund and not sent the item back. I do provide solutions and mitigate possible problems with shipping issues.
