This beautiful antique French sofa, also known as a canapé, dates to the early 1900s and reflects the refined elegance of Louis XV design. It features a richly carved wood frame with floral and scroll details, an asymmetrical high back, and graceful cabriole legs.

Condition: Structurally solid and highly decorative antique French sofa offered as a restoration piece. Upholstery shows heavy age-related wear, significant water staining, discoloration, and is not considered usable; full reupholstery is recommended. The carved painted/gilt frame displays age, finish loss, surface wear, and areas that would benefit from restoration or refinishing. Certain areas show age-related cracking and wear consistent with an antique of this age.
