Worldwide shipping is offered on all items in the shop. I aim to dispatch within 3 days after receiving payment. Items sent within the UK will be shipped, fully insured, by Royal Mail Special Delivery. Next day delivery is guaranteed, a signature is often required. Items sent outside the UK will be shipped by DHL Express, they will be fully tracked with additional insurance, to cover your item whilst in transit. A signature is often required. I'm very happy to discuss other delivery methods which you might require. Revised costs will be provided for such methods, & added to your invoice should you wish to go ahead. Please be aware that I must post out to the address on the Etsy/Paypal invoice for security reasons.

All items are gift wrapped for free. They will be beautifully presented in a branded Oh Magpie recycled card jewellery box with silk ribbon, which will be securely placed in responsibly sourced unbranded packaging. In some cases items may come with their original antique/vintage box. This will be specified in the description. For the most part these boxes are used for display purposes only.

Please be aware that for items sent outside the UK there might be additional duties payable, such as custom fees, import tax, VAT etc. These charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer. I am legally bound to declare the true contents and value of each parcel I send. On occasion items may be held by Customs for some time, whilst they check the contents - this can affect the delivery time, but please understand that this is completely out of my hands. I can assure buyers that in every instance it is my intention to get your item to you as quickly and safely as possible.

Lost or Damaged Items

In the very unlikely event that an item is lost or damaged in transit I will take up the claim with the delivery company - Royal Mail or DHL It can take some time for them to properly investigate each case, it might be a matter of weeks, or even a month. As soon as they have located the item, or declared its loss, and compensated the relevant amount I will be able to refund you. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding if this does unfortunately occur. I will do everything I can to expedite the process.

It is very important to me that you are happy with your purchase. I try to describe all items as accurately & honestly as possible. As you are most likely aware, all my items are either antique or vintage, and as such may be up to and over 200 years old. In most cases the wear on an antique piece is part of its charm and tells its individual story, so for this reason I chose not to highly polish them, instead leaving the wonderful patina which is so sought after in antique jewellery. I use a soft gold, or silver, cloth only, to gently buff the surface of the metal. Any damage will be noted. Please consider that some antique pieces are not meant for everyday wear, to preserve their longevity. Many of the rings can be re-sized, and although I do not offer that service myself I'm available to discuss whether re-sizing would be possible on a particular ring in my shop.

A lovely antique Victorian lucky clover malachite and silver brooch ☘️

Dating from the 1880s, the beautifully carved trefoil of malachite heart-shaped ‘leaves’ are bezel-set in sterling silver. Accented with the sweetest little scrolled and textured stem, which could easily be used as a bale!

I have left this beauty in its original form, as a brooch, but if desired the pin could be removed and it could be worn as a pendant by using the stem as it is, or with a larger bale attached. I’m very happy to discuss doing this conversion with anyone who might be interested.

Silver is unmarked but tested to confirm. In super condition.
