Rustic Metal Saguaro: Handcrafted Mexican Yard Art

A rustic, TINY or MINI metal version of the almighty Saguaro, the stately cactus found throughout the Sonoran desert. Featuring beaded edges to mimic the thorns of a live saguaro and blooming flowers on top.

Place this little cactus in your yard or display on your patio, by itself or in a planter for a carefree plant that will require no water or care and you won’t have to worry about it dying in extreme weather.

Handcrafted in Mexico, this is a very rustic Saguaro with rough and uneven welds and may have welding holes and clusters and a slightly slanted stance as shown in the photos.

It will be in varied stages of rusting with a mixed patina of some patches of rusty areas or fully rusted with dark flashing and ink marks. It will eventually achieve an all over rusty patina when in the elements and high humidity. The different pieces of metal may rust in different stages before fully rusting.

Please take note of these dimensions as it is a SMALL Saguaro, I recommend placing a yard stick in the area that you’d like to place the Saguaro and tie a string or place tape at the measurement of the size you are interested in to give you an idea of how it will look in that area. Using a yard stick pushed into the soil and standing on its own instead of using a tape measure will allow you to step back away from the area to get a better idea of how it will look. Often times people find out they need a different size than what they originally thought they wanted.
TINY will measure about 12 to 13 inches tall, about 6.5 to 7 inches wide from arm to arm and about 1.5 inches deep with the circular base being about 3.5 to 4.5 inches in diameter.
MINI measures about 18 to 20 inches tall, 9 to 12 inches wide and is about 3 inches deep with a round base that is about 6 inches in diameter with MADE IN MEXICO written in white.
As a handcrafted item, no two are exactly the same so these measurements will vary slightly as will the rusty patina. Feel free to send a message if you’d like to see a photo of the exact Saguaro that I will ship to you.
