This delightful, little scene, ‘Waterwheel Cottages’, would grace any shelf or nook in any room. The driftwood has really interesting patterns on the side surface. The waterwheel actually turns (with help of a finger!)

I hand make my models from wood that sometimes comes from a carpenter, leather offcuts from a local upholsterer, rusty nails, handmedown acrylic paints and other recycled materials wherever possible, including the packaging. I join the houses with a screw and wood glue.

I hand paint the houses with care. Each model is unique because I never repeat them, unless requested to make a similar one. This would be perfect for a lover of quirky art objects. Or you could treat yourself just because you love it!
