This is that read-out. Built, wired and sat on a shelf, doing it for real every time you press the button.

Nine individual LED displays across three rows, a genuine time travel sequence, and dates you choose yourself — not just OCT 26 1985, whatever actually means something to you.

Each clock is designed, assembled, calibrated and individually tested by me here in the UK.

⚡ TIME TRAVEL AT THE PRESS OF A BUTTON — SIMPLE OR EPIC

Press the button and the displays scramble through a full time travel sequence, around 15 to 20 seconds, before locking back into your dates. Choose Simple for a quick jump, or Epic for the full build to 88mph.

🎬 MOVIE-INSPIRED DEFAULT DATES

Every clock arrives with the classic dates already loaded:

🔴 Destination: OCT 26 1985 – 01:20

🟠 Last Departed: NOV 05 1955 – 06:00

🟢 Present Time: syncs automatically once connected to WiFi

Want to commemorate something else? Set your own Destination and Last Departed dates from the control panel. Wedding day, birthday, anniversary, first date, the day you bought a time machine — it's entirely up to you.

🔆 AUTOMATIC AM/PM INDICATORS

All three rows automatically display the correct AM or PM indicator. Change a Destination time and the indicator updates with it.

🌙 NIGHT DIMMING

Don't fancy your Time Circuits lighting up the whole room at 2am? Set your own night schedule and brightness level and it dims itself, no fiddling required.

📱 FULL WEB CONTROL

Once connected to your WiFi, open a browser on your phone, tablet or laptop and go to:

No app. No account. Just a control panel on your own network.

From there you can:

• Change the Destination and Last Departed dates
• Adjust brightness for each row
• Set your automatic night dimming schedule
• Switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time
• Trigger the time travel sequence — Simple or Epic
• Set up World Clock with two extra time zones
• Check the clock and display status

Change any of it whenever you like — nothing needs resetting.

📡 STANDALONE MODE — NO WIFI NEEDED

Don't have WiFi where you want to display it? No problem.

During setup, choose Standalone Mode and set the time manually. The built-in precision clock then keeps it running on its own.

🕒 PRECISION TIMEKEEPING

In WiFi mode, Present Time synchronises automatically using internet time servers. A built-in DS3231 Real-Time Clock with battery backup keeps time when WiFi or power is unavailable.

Choose between:

• 12-hour AM/PM time
• 24-hour time

📶 AUTOMATIC WIFI RECOVERY

If your WiFi connection drops, the clock automatically attempts to reconnect. Meanwhile the battery-backed clock keeps time regardless.

These are handmade electronics, not mass-produced goods, and very occasionally a unit needs attention. When that happens you deal directly with me — not a support queue. Replacement parts get posted out, firmware updates are free for the life of the clock, and I will see it put right.

❓ FAQ

DO I NEED WIFI?

No. Choose WiFi Mode for automatic time sync and full browser control, or Standalone Mode to set the time manually and run independently using the built-in clock.

IS SETUP DIFFICULT?

No. During initial setup, connect to the clock's WiFi hotspot and follow the on-screen instructions. Once configured, visit http://bttf.local from a device on the same network whenever you want to change settings.

CAN I CHANGE THE DATES?

Yes. Destination and Last Departed dates can be changed from the web control panel at any time.

DOES PRESENT TIME UPDATE AUTOMATICALLY?

Yes, when using WiFi Mode, via internet time servers. In Standalone Mode, the built-in clock maintains Present Time independently.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY WIFI GOES DOWN?

The clock keeps time on its battery-backed clock and automatically attempts to reconnect once WiFi is available again.

HOW LONG DOES THE TIME TRAVEL SEQUENCE LAST?

Around 15 to 20 seconds, from the first scramble to the displays locking back into place.

CAN I USE 12-HOUR OR 24-HOUR TIME?

Yes. Select your preferred format from the web control panel.
