How do you take your measurements?

I measure items and put the measurements in the listings, these are usually measured in millimetres. If there is any part I haven't measured that you would like to know about please do message me. Gemstones are measured in the settings, however I do try to measure as much as possible just the gemstone and not the settings. To remove from the setting may damage your item and this is why I leave them.

I often get asked if the gemstones are real. The answer is yes, all the gemstones in the shop are real, unless they are called paste or glass. Gemstones can be natural or laboratory created. Laboratory created gemstones are real gemstones and have the same chemical make up as natural stones. It is estimated that the majority of gemstones on the market are treated or enhanced in some way. This is something that has been done for very many years. Heat treatment is the most common forms. So what can we take from this information? Approximately 80% of gemstones on the market have been treated in some way. There are many, created and natural gemstones on the market. Rest assure I am always as accurate as possible with shop listings.

Most countries now have Klarna available to them on Etsy which allows you to spread the payment costs for items, usually up to three split payments. Items over £100 I can offer a lay-away plan. Please message me and tell me which item you are interested in putting on lay-away. We can then go over the details, and I will require a minimum deposit to be agreed, usually 25% minimum of the item value. I do require items to be paid off with in the agreed period usually no more than 8 weeks. Please do remember your lay-away plan dates and when to pay and how much you have outstanding, this is your responsibility. Do you accept Returns?

Yes, I accept returns. I do require to be asked within 3 days of receipt. I am very careful with my listings, and request my customers, whom are wonderful by the way, to please make sure they read and check the descriptions and measurements properly. Any returns MUST be returned in all the original condition, packaging and boxes, wrapping etc and returned to the full address (which you must ask for), insurance if required, and sign for on delivery. This protects you as a buyer and me too. Returned items must be labelled RETURNS, if I get charged any taxes for your return this will be deducted from your refund.

Custom and personalised orders

Items that have been altered at your request such as rings for example, but also other items, are considered custom orders as they have been altered at your request for your specific needs / requirements. Such custom listings are none returnable or refundable.

U.K Shipping and Delivery

U.K Shipping is FREE! All items are sent tracked and signed for. Either via 1st class sign for with or via Special Delivery and are mostly shipped with in 48 hours. The tracking number is forwarded onto you so that you can track your parcel. I would advise if you are buying anything over £100 that you put the item in your basket and then add upgraded shipping so that your item is sent via Special Delivery. Thanks to the delivery methods I use for your items you will usually receive your order quickly.

Worldwide shipping is 100% free when there is no corona viraus issues or you can choose tracked and sign for so that you have peace of mind at little extra cost. Emma will forward your tracking number to you after shipment and then you can follow your package as it travels to you. Your parcel is then insured for a maximum of £250 via this method. Please be aware that international shipping times can vary. The tracked and sign for method is usually speedy, between 7 and 10 days, however parcels can take longer, up to 28 days due to holiday periods, or Customs. Unfortunelty I cannot be held responsible for this, this is something out of my control, although if you have any worries I am happy for you to reach out to me.

All pre loved jewellery deserves some care and attention. Recommendations; You may have to take your occupation / lifestyle into account when choosing jewellery that you wear daily as opposed to special occasion wear. Need help? Just ask. Please store jewellery in a suitable jewellery box, in a safe clean, dry environment. Clean jewellery with great care, particularly antique pieces. If unsure I do recommend seeking professional help. Remove jewellery before doing activities such as washing up and house work, avoid chemicals, sandy beaches, sea and swimming pools! It is a good idea to have your jewellery checked over every 6 months by a good local jeweller to ensure the claws are still good, and the settings are sturdy etc.

Very beautiful, big, bold, yellow citrine ring with full U.K hallmarks.

An eye-catching ring with a stunning oval faceted yellow citrine that really has a happy / joyful feel about it. For me this was an instant "yes" purchase, I knew I wanted it for the Minxyvintage shop collection, it really is a lovely ring. I like the shape of the shoulders too, they are so stylish!
