Gift wrapping and packaging

To reduce waste, multiple items in one order are typically packaged together in a single gift pouch or wrapped in tissue paper. Please note that most items are NOT gift-wrapped unless requested. In an effort to stay eco-conscious, we occasionally reuse clean and sturdy packing materials. New requirements ask that any items made in Canada be labelled "Made in Canada" I use made in Canada stickers on my packaging to the USA & internationally. Not the cutest, but necessary for customs clearance :)

Custom and personalized orders

CANADA: Most items are sent Expedited Parcel by default, those usually arrive quick, in 3-6 business days. Free Shipping or shipping fee under $3.00 is sent by standard Oversize LETTERMAIL (NO Tracking). This can take up to 7-14 days before delivery. You can upgrade at checkout to faster shipping. I am not effected by strikes. I use Stallion express who uses couriers including dragonfly/intelcom, however NO PO BOXES. You can always request Expedited parcel by Canada Post through Stallion Express with a tracking number. It averages 3-6 business days for delivery. (Also available as an upgrade at checkout)

I ship to the USA with USPS Ground Advantage from within Canada using a third party transport co. (Stallion express) USA Orders will ship DDP (delivered duties paid) NO tariffs NO customs fee at delivery (those are worked into the price & shipping price!) Please note I also have to pay a broker fee to clear my parcels effortlessly - the added costs are also part of the price. $$ All items to the USA include tracking. For FULL tracking you should track your order at: stallionexpress.ca/tracking chitchats.com/tracking Average transit time is 4-6 business days AFTER the package clears customs. Your order may be opened and inspected by customs border officials.

International UK EU AUSTRALIA

I ship Worldwide. I use Canada Post, USPS or PostNL with Stallion Express. The average delivery time is 7-12 days. This will depend on country and customs clearance. Buyer is responsible for any VAT or country taxes imposed by your country. Packages that are denied by the buyer due to fees owing (as determined by your country) will be destroyed by border officials and no refund will be issued - it will NOT be returned to me. This does not happen often but has occurred in the past. I am not responsible for VAT or country taxes on orders entering your country. If you prepaid VAT or customs during Etsy checkout - it will be noted on your parcel.

Returns and Exchanges

I do not accept Returns. You may cancel an order ONLY within 2 hours of placing the order. I accept exchanges (Canada only) on a case by case basis, please contact me first. Buyer is responsible for return shipping.

Please allow 5-7 business days for PERSONALIZED or MADE TO ORDER items before shipping. I don't ship on weekends. "Ready to ship" items should go out quicker in 2-3 days usually. Please ask prior to placing an order for RUSH processing and delivery - additional fees may apply. RUSH doesn't include your country border clearance - that is beyond my control.

What if my Address is Wrong?

What if I leave the wrong address? If you left an incorrect address at checkout, please contact me as soon as possible, Before your order is shipped! Due to new border regulations, any order sent to the USA by USPS via third party carrier will NOT be returned to sender. The item will be destroyed by border officials and charged $5 processing fee. Therefore, I am unable to re-ship an order with an incorrect address, or exchange US orders unless you would like to re-purchase shipping + $5 fee. I'm Sorry, I don't want to have to do that :) Same above applies to International or overseas orders. The only exception is Canada - For Canadian residents, when the item is returned to me, I can redirect the package once shipping is re-purchased.

USA: I am shipping by Stallion Express to USPS with DDP (delivered duties paid) NO tariffs NO customs fee at delivery. There currently isn't a way to add those fees on etsy yet - so I have added the cost to the shipping price! stallionexpress.ca/tracking chitchats.com/tracking EUROPE, AUSTRALIA, UK: you are responsible for any VAT duties, customs, country taxes etc...most times you can prepay on Etsy. I will note the VAT or IOSS number on your package. Fees are determined by your country and beyond my control.
