First time trying this product but it promises to do the job: cover my top potting soil to eliminate hatching gnats. Took a little longer than expected to arrive.
this is fabulous sand. I've used sand from big box stores - this is a million times better. Apparently unwashed sand has Silva and there's a risk it will end up like cement a few after planting. i learned the hard way. THIS sand is pure gold. Beautiful beautiful sand.
Shipping stated that it was delivered, but I did not receive the item until 4-5 days later. It seems to be good, will be using it in a soil mix.
This is a 3 gallon bag of coarse horticultural sand. It will be part of my gritty mix for two creeping devil cactus. Great product that comes in a genuine reinforced sandbag not a cheap plastic trash bag. A bit pricey but the free shipping more than made up for that. BTW your FedEx person will probably hate you for ordering this,roughly, 40 lb bag.
