Disclaimer:
This is a pivoting chain ruler with removable links. It’s designed with very small (.1mm) gaps (called tolerances) between each connector so the links can pivot and disconnect. Without these gaps, the ruler would not pivot properly or disconnect/reconnect without a struggle. To ensure accurate measurements, make sure each incremental border is touching the next when in use. Do not stretch the ruler to the point that you are creating large gaps between the borders or you could create inaccurate measurements. As long as your borders are touching your measurements will be accurate.👍 (May not be suitable for tournament use)
