I could find no replacement resistance cords and handles available from Slim Cycle® when mine needed replacement. Half of the benefits I feel I get from my daily Slim Cycle® workouts come from pulling on these resistance cords as I cycle along. So, I purchased a bunch of parts and made my own... which work as well as the originals! I've put together a package of elastic cord, handles, fasteners and instructions to either repair (using original locking cups and handles with new cords) or replace (with new cords and handles.)
Included are two correct-length 1/4" "bungee" resistance cords, anchor/locking fittings, two new handles and step-by-step instructions.
Fits SlimCycle® brand stationary exercise bicycles only. Only tools required are a small screwdriver to pry open the handle locking cup and 5/32" allen hex wrench to loosen anchor screws.
