I am on my third attempt to make this fit... even with similar gage, result differs cause of yarn. Otherwise it looks super good but it really is a game of what do you like to feel when wearing this garnment. I have started with 10 links instead of 12 and then augmented after two rows in the front and 4 in the back, to have a little more freedom there in between and it did adjust the lenght where the front pouch feels good to be hanging. I ended up doing small back panel for the cut and medium front mostly for comfort reasons, hesitating if I like the support of the border cause it brings a little stiffness to the flow of the piece. Again, my yarn is a cotton blend and is on the stiff side which doesn't help. I have considered the reviews and tried my best at it. The front pouch comfort is the challenge, I won't give up! Love ya
