About this item
RUG PROCESSING - IN TUFTED RUGS, YARNS ARE WRAPPED IN THREAD, AND ON THE BACK SIDE OF THE RUG, THERE IS COTTON BACKING TO GLUE THE YARNS TIGHTLY. COTTON BACKING MAKES THE RUG ANTI-SLIP AND GIVES IT A FINISHED LOOK.

FINE BLENDED WOOL - THIS WOOL HAS MEDIUM WOOL FIBER, MADE BY MIXING 40% NEW ZEALAND WOOL AND 60% INDIAN WOOL. THIS MAKES THE WOOL MORE DURABLE. HOWEVER, AS IT IS MADE UP OF TWO TYPES OF FIBERS, IT IS KNOWN AS BLENDED WOOL. THEY ARE SOFT AND DURABLE, BUT COMPARED TO NEW ZEALAND WOOL, BLENDED WOOLS HAVE SHEDDING PROBLEMS. ALSO, THEY ARE NOT AS SMOOTH AND BRIGHT AS NEW ZEALAND WOOL.

NEW ZEALAND WOOL - THESE WOOLS ARE IMPORTED FROM NEW ZEALAND AND ARE VERY SOFT AND BRIGHT. WITH A LONG WOOL FIBER, THEY MAKE THE RUG SMOOTH AND BRIGHT, AND THEY HAVE VERY FEW SHEDDING PROBLEMS.

ALL WOOL RUGS SLIGHTLY SHED IN THE BEGINNING, BUT AFTER USING FOR A FEW WEEKS, THEY BECOME NORMAL.

WE CAN MAKE RUGS IN ANY SIZE. YOU CAN CUSTOMIZE ANY COLOR AND SIZE FROM OUR STORE.

Premium, Luxurious, Contemporary HANDMADE Rug - MADE WITH LOVE, PASSION, AND INTEGRITY IN RURAL INDIA.

Please do not compare our prices to other store prices. We might be a little more expensive, but OUR QUALITY, CRAFTSMANSHIP & WORK ETHICS are more than worth it. Give us a chance to experience the wonder of a world-class handmade masterpiece.

The price listed for designs shown in the store is for the Hand Tufted technique used for hand-making your rug. If you want your rug to be made using any other technique i.e., Hand Knotted, Handloom, Flatweave, etc., please contact us for custom collaboration.

PLEASE NOTE:

The images we display have the most accurate color possible. Due to differences in display screens of various devices, we cannot be responsible for variations in color between the actual product and your screen.

The products are handcrafted, relying mainly on the skills of the artisans, using techniques passed down from generation to generation for hundreds of years. This makes each product UNIQUE, with no two being the same. We find beauty in this imperfection.

Please be advised that in some cases patterns and colors may vary according to size. Length and width of the final product may vary from the published dimensions. We do our best to provide you with an accurate measurement, but please be advised that some variation does exist, and this is not a manufacturing defect but a nature of handmade production.
